Our family parties always consist of the cheesiest side dishes that are irresistible. There are two dishes that I cannot not eat; cheesy potato casserole and cheesy broccoli casserole. Even though I eat primarily vegan (95% of the time), I will splurge when these two dishes are in front of me. My Grandma has always made this cheesy broccoli casserole that we all fight over. It is so good!
I called my Grandma to get the recipe and she has no idea where the recipe actually came from. It could have been the back of the soup can or from a family friend…no one knows. Regardless, for as long as I can remember this side dish has been made by my Grandma so it’s “Grandma’s Cheesy Broccoli Casserole”.
I’ve never actually made this dish before so I was pleasantly surprised of how easy this dish was to make. Literally, all of the ingredients go into a large mixing bowl, mix the ingredients together and place everything into a casserole dish. Cook, uncovered on 350 degrees for 45 minutes. So easy!
This dish is far from healthy but it’s so, so good! A little splurge is ok every once in a while…right?!
