We can’t talk about the holidays without talking about New Years Eve!
New Years Eve is one of those holidays that have a lot of hype around it. I remember back in the day always having such high hopes for how we would spend New Years Eve. We would talk for weeks about what we were going to do, whether we were going to go out or stay in and of course what are New Years Eve outfit would be. Maybe it’s our age, but for the past few years, we’ve definitely chosen the stay-in route.
Last year Allison and Matt put together a super cute fort in their living room and watched movies. Brandon and I got dressed up went to one of my favorite restaurants then called it a night. I’m lucky to make it to 12:01am these days, however I can definitely appreciate the hype around the holiday.
Picking out a New Years Eve outfit is always one of my favorite things. It’s the perfect opportunity to go all out, get dressed to the nines and have fun with it. Sequins, velvet, faux fur….it’s all acceptable! While we aren’t too sure of our New Years Eve plans for this year yet, we thought it would be fun to pick out some pieces that we would wear to bring in the New Year.
Oh and bonus, EVERYTHING is under $100!
New Years Eve Outfit Ideas Under $100
Sequins are not typically my thing, but I can get behind them when it comes to bringing in the New Year. Especially in the form of this black blazer. So good. Also, I love a good jumpsuit and would much prefer that over a dress. There are so many good options available that would be perfect for this night. I did include a skirt/tank set that I am completely obsessed with. I’m picturing it paired with some gold heels and a leather jacket….it might just be my look this year.
In my 20’s, I would take advantage of sequins, fur, feathers (all together sometimes) any chance I could. Now that I’m in my 30’s, sequin outfits only seem appropriate for holiday parties and New Years Eve. Oh, how times have changed! Whether I am going out on the town or going to a low key house party, I am going to deck myself out in something sequins this New Years Eve!
