I don’t know what it is about the month of October but something makes me wants to shop. I think that it is because I’m getting excited about Christmas but not burnt out yet so my itch to buy some new items is in full force! Here are the 5 items I am currently obsessed with:
1.) Sleep Jacket
This sleep jacket is one of my favorite finds of the year…seriously! I wear it way too much, almost daily but it’s just so good. I stumbled across this great jacket while watching Instagram Stories. It is the coziest thing, so warm and less than $13! I bought the gray color and the white color. Sometimes I am skeptical when buying fuzzy clothing items but when I washed/dry this item, it was perfect and didn’t leave any left over fuzz on my clothing. $13 from Walmart…can’t beat it! I recommend sizing up.
2.) Ice Roller
This is the recent craze that I have seen everywhere! Before I knew about the ice roller, I purchased a jade roller that I would put in my freezer. When Shannon told me about this, I was so excited to try it! I use it most mornings (when I remember) and it helps with the puffiness under my eyes and throughout my entire face. Plus it’s a great facial massage and less than $13.
3.) Martha Stewarts Dutch Oven
This is Matt and I’s favorite thing we have received! Matt’s mom bought this for us as a Christmas gift and I love it! We use it all the time for soups, pastas, chilis & etc. Roasts and any meat dish would be great in this dutch oven as well. It is oven safe and can go right from the refrigerator to the stove or oven.
4.) Garment Steamer
The one item I think everyone should own! I use my steamer every single day because I cannot stand when I wear wrinkly clothes. But one thing I hate more than wrinkly clothes is the ironing board and iron. It takes so much effort to get the iron and ironing board out compared to using a steamer. Plus it is so much faster! You can steam wrinkled curtains, bedding and those delicate clothe too.
5.) Slipper Socks
Right when the weather hits lower than 60 degrees, the slipper socks are out! It is rather chilly in Michigan from October to March so the only way I can keep wear in our house is by layering up. Slipper socks are always my go-to! These have the grips on the bottom which helps with sliding around. I’ve fallen one too many times wearing socks that do not have the grips on them…trust me, get the grips!
