Last week, Allison, shared 5 things she is currently obsessed with. It seemed to go over pretty well with you all, so I thought I would share mine today!
Mine are kind of all over the place. But they are all things I’ve been obsessed with this past month. As well as things I would definitely recommend to anyone who asked. Or didn’t ask 🙂 So here are the 5 things I’m obsessed with…
1. Zara Denim
I don’t believe I have ever purchased a pair of jeans from Zara. But their denim shorts are always my favorite, so I finally decided to try a pair. Verdict: I’m obsessed. These are hands down my favorite pair of jeans at the moment and pretty much the only pair I wear as of late. They are a straight cut, high rise fit and a raw hem which I love. Zara does tend to run a bit small, so I always size up. Normally I wear a 26, but went with a 27 with these and I am glad I did because they don’t have a lot of stretch. Definitely a fall/winter staple for me!
2. Serial Podcast
Guys, I’m very into the new season of Serial. The first season was amazing, I skipped the second season, and am now back on board. This season takes place at the Cleveland Courthouse and described as “one courthouse told week by week”. Based on that, I didn’t really think I would like it, but I quickly got sucked in. The stories, people and whole concept is actually very interesting.
As you know, I’m trying to clean up my skincare products as much as possible. I had been using Tata Harper, but decided to try something new this time. After reading several articles on how clean their products are, I decided on Herbivore Botanicals. I purchased the Pink Cloud Moisturizer, Rose Mist, and Lapis Oil. Love, love, love the moisturizer and mist and will definitely be purchasing them again. However, I wasn’t sold on the oil, which I was kind of bummed about because I had heard really great things.
4. Hamilton Beach Juicer
This is not the nicest of juicers, but it’s been perfect as of late. I’m still going strong with my celery juice every morning, so this juicer has been getting a lot of use out of it. It’s easy, with minimal parts and isn’t that big of a pain to clean up.So, if you are looking for one and don’t need a fancy, expensive one, this one should do the trick!
5. W3ll People Foundation Stick
This is another product I recently switched to in attempt to clean up my beauty routine. I had done a bit of research on good, clean, foundations and this one kept popping up, so I went with it. I couldn’t be happier with it! It’s a light coverage, but incredibly buildable which is ideal because I don’t like wearing a ton of foundation, buuut I have acne, so, for me, it works! It’s definitely a make-up product I’ll be purchasing again!
