My dear Baby B,
Although you have been growing inside me for 35 weeks and we have yet to meet, I feel like I already know you. Your dad and I love you so much already! The moment they said “it’s a….BOY!” at our 20 week ultrasound, my mind started racing. I have so much hope, excitement, love and aspirations for the boy and man you will be.
I hope you are caring like your Dad. Be a hard worker like him too. I hope you find someone to love as much as your Dad & I love each other. Relationships take work, a lot of work, don’t give up so easily. I hope that you respect, encourage and admire who you love. No matter who you love- we will love you forever and ever. Love yourself first and unconditionally. Never discriminate. You don’t know where other people have been and what they’ve been through.
Don’t be so quick to judge but be cautious and trust your gut. Listen to your gut! It is always right and it has gotten your Dad and I to where we are. Love your family! Love your mom, Dad and future siblings. They will have your back , no matter what. Respect your elders. Someday you will be old too. Help them ANY chance you can. Pay attention to politics. Please, don’t have your head buried in the sand.
No football. Your Dad wants you to play football (I don’t) and you are not even born yet. That’s a battle I will win! Be strong like me but be careful if you have my quick mouth. It’s gotten me in trouble a time or two. Be Kind. Always be kind. Don’t play games with peoples emotions. Travel, travel, travel. Traveling to different parts of the world has filled my soul and taught me so much. I will always encourage you to travel…always! Love this beautiful earth and all the different people that walk it, it really is so beautiful, take care of her. I hope you always have a thirst for learning. Being smart is cool!
Life doesn’t go as planned, be ok with it. Life isn’t always fair. Be patient. Life has a way of working its way out, promise!
